Make Lab
9th Floor: Make Lab
Make Lab
Work in teams to unleash your design thinking, and bring your innovative solutions to life through art, technology, woodworking, photography, electronics, and much more!
Where ideas become real
The Make Lab is a floor for children who love to design, build, and create with their hands. Across spaces for art, woodworking, rapid prototyping, and tool-based making, visitors can explore how ideas move from sketch to model to finished object.
This is a place for working with materials, learning new processes, and discovering the satisfaction of making something tangible. Children can shape, test, assemble, and refine as they build confidence with tools, craftsmanship, and creative problem-solving.
What you can explore
Art studio
Experiment with materials, mark-making, and visual expression through hands-on art experiences.
Rapid prototyping studio
Use digital tools such as 3D printers and a laser cutter to model, test, and improve ideas.
Woodworking studio
Build with wood, learn how materials behave, and experience the craft of making something durable by hand.
Tool bar
Get hands-on with the tools, techniques, and processes that support confident making.
Discover Lab
8th Floor: Discover Lab
Discover Lab
Discover the wonders and woes of the world of water as you learn about conservation, meet the deepest-living marine life, find ways to clean the Mithi river, and do much more!
This floor talks about mature themes on climate and ecology. We recommend you experience this floor as a family. Parental guidance advised.
Discover the many stories of water
Discover Lab is an immersive floor that invites children to explore water as an essential part of life on Earth. Through film, storytelling, interactive exhibits, and team challenges, visitors can experience water as ocean, river, daily necessity, and shared responsibility.
Across four distinct zones, the floor moves from wonder to reflection to action. Children can journey through marine worlds, encounter stories from communities shaped by water, connect global issues to everyday life, and take on missions that ask them to solve, respond, and think differently.
What you can explore

Play Lab
Solve problems and have fun as you interact with STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) concepts through our playful and sensorial exhibits, and creative workshops.
A place for playful experimentations
The Play Lab is a hands-on floor for curious children who love to build, test, move, and imagine. Here, play becomes a way to explore how the world works through air, water, motion, structures, patterns, and open-ended making.
Instead of being shown the answer, children are invited to try something, notice what happens, change it, and try again. That spirit of experimentation runs through the entire floor, turning everyday materials, surprising phenomena, and big physical experiences into moments of real discovery.
What you can explore
Air play
Launch, float, hover, and steer your way through exhibits that bring aerodynamics to life.
Build it
Design tracks, build bridges, and test structures as you explore balance, strength, and motion.
Create it
Animate stories, crack sequences, and experiment with patterns, shapes, and design.
Water play
Play with flow, movement, and cause and effect through hands-on water-based exploration.
Big moves
Jump, balance, pull, and react in full-body experiences that connect movement with learning.
Free play
Build big, invent freely, and create your own worlds with open-ended materials and collaborative challenges.
Grow Lab
Terrace: Grow Lab
Grow Lab
Delve into the world of sustainability and clean living. From composting to beekeeping, from growing your own vegetables to immersing yourself in a tropical garden, it’s a nature adventure like no other!
Step into the living world
Grow Lab is a living outdoor lab where children can explore how ecosystems work through touch, observation, movement, and hands-on investigation. Across plants, soil, water, seeds, insects, compost, and farming tools, the floor invites visitors to look closely at the natural processes that keep life going.
This is a space for slowing down and paying attention. Children can peer into miniature habitats, walk barefoot across natural textures, examine soil under a microscope, spot pollinators at work, and discover how waste becomes nourishment. Along the way, they begin to see nature not as scenery, but as a network of relationships that sustains us all.
